Expectation Leads To Disappointment

Many do not understand, the reason behind my teardrops.

I wasn't crying because we lost.
i certainly learn that, there's always win and lose in a competition, and i can accept both, i believe.

Nor did i cry because mgs won a prize and we brought back nothing.
"The culture we have does not make people feel good about themselves. And you have to be strong enough to say if the culture doesn't work, don't buy it."
Just because the previous generations hated them and doesn't mean we have to do the same thing.
They copied our action? Come on, people. So what? There were merely a few simple and common hand actions, and everyone does that.

But it's all because of him.
If Mitch Albom had found his true and real coach, Professor Morrie, then i think i have found mine too.

For four years being taught under him in a choir, my worships toward him have never gone lesser.
Despite of his talents in music and his passion in singing,
he makes us a better team and,

makes me a better person.

His presence always makes me feel emotional, and forces me to give out everything i have.

He is so good that, it often makes me feel guilty and sorry,
for i'm not being good enough for him.

On top of this, i just wanna tell him;
I'm sorry, for letting you down again, though you expected it already.
But I am thankful that you had never given up on us.
I am thankful that, unlike other teachers wanting us to win so badly, you encouraged us to enjoy the stage.
I am thankful that no matter how worse we were, you were always here to fix us.
Thanks and sorry, Sir!

I'm strong enough to accept the disappointment.

P/S : Well, sorry for the late post.  Shall not talk about the orchestra anymore as you guys can know the details from Wendy's and Shieh er's blog.  :)

P/SS :  Low, YSE, and Xiner gonna join Interact Club. This shows how influential i am. HAHAHA.

In My Heart, You Are The Champion!

I wish I had never watched Football World Cup in the first place.
Otherwise, i wouldn't be so addicted to it.

I wish i had never fallen in love with Germany.
Otherwise, i wouldn't be so heartbreak to watch them lost.

I wish Klose could score one more goal.
I wish Mueller had played in the match versus Spain.
I wish Podolski's efforts did not end with futile.

Yeap. I'm upset.

But definitely, I did not regret,
of everything.

Good Job, my boys!  :)

Physical Lyodts

Physical Lyodts. Oh well, I couldn't come up with any other better names. Maafkan saya.
So, while we went hysteric today, I came up with this name, EnerQia Yap out of nowhere and I started giving names to the rest of Lyodts as well! So here is how it turned out :
Cheryl Yap - InerQia Yap (Supposed to be inertia actually but who cares. xD)
Ding Yan Wen - Momentum Ding
Lee Xin Er - Power Lee
Low Mian En - Pressure Low
Wendy Tan - Gravity Tan
Soe Yuan Ting - Potential Soe
Great? Awesome? Yes, we are. xDD

And something random came out of Wendy's mouth.
Kinetic Praba which is Raveena!! "Sexy is my name, babe!" said Raveena seductively. (I wasn't there to see but I could imagine it. LOL. It's Raveena after all.)

July is here!

This gonna be a quick post from me.
I have 1 good news and 1 bad news on my hand.
Which do you wanna know first?

Let's talk about the bad one first.

Sad to say, We lost yesterday. Choir team lost.
Two reasons; we sang badly and the other teams were darn good especially Kepong and Damansara Jaya. Big claps for them!
However, our school gonna combine with Kepong to perform for the Asean blah blah thing. That is, indeed a great news for us. It can be said as peringkat Kebangsaan, awesome right? :) We are lucky!
And, i promise. I'll put all my effort and try my best in next competition, which gonna be held next saturday.

We'll be back! :)

The good news is, Germany won Argentina yesterday 4-0. Yahhoooo!
For the first time, i watched a football match from the very beginning till the end, without blinking my eyes. This is exaggerating!
But it was seriously an awesome match.
And i definitely not gonna miss the next match, Germany versus Spain,

Shine till the end, Germany!

Mueller gonna miss the next match. Sad case :(

Whenever i wake up in the morning, the first thing that comes across my mind is; homework! Oh lord.

Oh one more thing; did i tell you guys that i cried when watching Toy Story 3?
Even a cartoon? Yupe even a cartoon.
Don't laugh kay. The ending was really sad.

plastiKINGs (probably the longest post ever)

We'd first met up in my house, 17th June during the school holiday to crack our brains for ideas. Then we came up with the weirdest magazine name - plastiKINGs which meant the verb "plastic" in continuous tense "ing" or could also be deciphered as the kings of plastic surgery. It wasn't only the magazine name that's weird but also the theme we'd chosen, plastic surgery. Who in the hell would choose that?

Group members:
Tan Pei Sin Wendy reluctantly took the leader position and did a really bad job
did the featured article, mostly all the printing, drew the stupid culeiziii comic thrice

Ding Yan Wen
edited the picture for the featured article and printed it for more than 5 times, test yourself and heart to heart talk

Low Mian En
contributed the idea for test yourself, printed Yamada Ryosuke :) and did both test yourself and heart to heart talk

Cheryl Yap
tried her best not to plagiarize Juliana's Wonder, discovered her talent to draw lines :)

Soe Yuan Ting
did Feeling A Thought for Juliana's Wonder, tried all she could to print Yamada but unfortunately turned out to be a "litmus-Yamada". Also printed the front cover title and sacrifice her sleep to cut the letters out one by one even though I asked her not to do so if it was too late

Anyway, thanks everyone for the brilliant partnership. I really didn't know how to distribute the work because once did by different person, the columns would turn out to be really distorted. So I had to gather all the work and do it myself. I knew that I did a very bad leadership.

Low probably felt bad as I didn't accept many of her ideas, the speech bubble and sorts. It wasn't because her ideas weren't good, but creativity and taste were more to personal preference. Anyway, brilliant idea for "Where's her face???" Lol.

I bet SYT felt really guilty as she was so busy with her choir practices and all she could do was menial thing like printing. Yet her printer went wrong then printed out a purplish Yamada. That purplish Yamada finally found its home in YSE's file. At last, she could kill her guiltiness by cutting those really discrete letters late at night and dared not even complain about how late she went to bed, which she usually does.

For YSE, she probably felt the same way, only difference was she blamed me for being talented so I had to draw the comics. Well, she still discovered her new talent to draw lines with stabilo pens. Anyway, she contributed the idea for the title of the featured article - Dreams Come True - when she was daydreaming about Hey! Say! JUMP!

As for our high and mighty Ding Yan Wen a.k.a God, she too discovered her new talent to cut using a blunt blade. Rofl! I entrusted her with the featured article's picture and she did a fabulous job, not turning me down. As expected! *Dingnism sign*

I was, and I guess all of us were happy that we did not gave up when we couldn't see the light for the front cover. We were dumbfounded during the English class the day before yesterday. Everyone lackadaisically just let it be. I felt really bad for not doing my job properly, especially when witnessing everyone's frowning expression. Sigh. But anyway, it turned out good today! Everyone got their ass off the chair to complete the whole magazine. Today it really felt like a group work. And then we bid farewell to the our hardwork. Reminiscing the whole process, we actually lost confidence on our work when we compared it with the other groups'. However today... OUR'S STILL THE BEST!
